The Brief

PizzaSQR is a new concept restaurant which was launched in 2018 with the plan on opening another 20 branches in 2019. Joanne got in touch with me to convert their existing site from Umbraco CMS to WordPress and after a lengthy chat, It seemed like it was more than just the CMS that wasn’t working for them.

The Approach

I wanted to give the site the feel of an authentic Italian pizzeria, so I used browns and creams along with clever font choices to blend traditional and modern design concepts together. Big, mouth watering imagery appears throughout the site and a slight parallax effect is used to give a sense of movement.
